Most learning platforms will not accept a Word document. They accept SCORM, a zipped bundle with a manifest that tells the LMS what the course is and how to track it. So a policy, a procedure or a induction handbook written in Word has to be repackaged before anyone can be assigned it.
That repackaging is usually done by rebuilding the document inside an authoring tool, which is slow and expensive for content that is already written. This converter does the packaging step directly: your .docx goes in, a conformant SCORM 1.2 package comes out.

Why most free converters produce courses your LMS records as never finished
A SCORM package is not just a zip with a manifest. Inside it, the course has to hold a conversation with the LMS, announce itself, report a status, and say goodbye when the learner leaves. If it does not, the LMS has nothing to record, and the course sits in everyone's transcript as permanently incomplete.
This is the single most common complaint about free document-to-SCORM tools, and it is not a bug you can see until the courses are already assigned. The other common shortcut is worse: marking the course complete the instant it opens. That produces a tidy report and means nothing, which is exactly the wrong outcome if the content is compliance training and the report is the point.
Our packages mark completion when the learner reaches the last page, with a visible "Mark complete" button as a fallback. Progress is saved as they go, so closing the course and returning does not lose their place.

Will the course work in my LMS?
It is a standard SCORM 1.2 package, manifest at the zip root, ADL schemas included, standard runtime calls, so any SCORM-compliant LMS should accept it. If yours rejects a package, send it to us and we will tell you why.
Does my document get uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely inside your browser. The file never leaves your computer, which is why this is usable for compliance and HR content that cannot go on a third-party server.
Can I convert a PDF instead?

What about PowerPoint?
Not directly yet. Export your deck to PDF from PowerPoint first, then convert the PDF. The result is the same course; it is one extra step.
Does it track quiz scores?
Not yet. The course reports progress and completion. If you need scored questions, build them in an authoring tool, this converter is for documents that already exist.
