A PDF export is a flat, faithful picture of each slide. Animations, slide transitions and embedded video do not survive it, and speaker notes are not included unless you choose a notes layout on export.
For the content people actually need to convert, policies, inductions, safety briefings, product refreshers, that is rarely a loss. Those decks are read, not performed. If your deck genuinely depends on animation or embedded video, a document converter is the wrong tool entirely and you want a proper authoring tool.
